1. Promoter
The giveaway is conducted by Duncan Ritchie / duncanritchie.com (“I”, “me” or the “Promoter”, as applicable).

2. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to persons aged 18 years or over, except the Promoter, anyone directly involved in administering or marketing the giveaway, and their immediate families.

3. Entry period
Entrants may enter the giveaway at any time from 00:01 AEDT on 23 October 2026 until 23:59 AEDT on 20 November 2026 (“Closing Date”).

4. How to enter
Entry is free. Entrants must complete the giveaway form at the dedicated webpage and provide:

• first and last name;
• valid email address;
• country of residence; and
• preferred format: ebook, audiobook or paperback.

No purchase is required.

5. One entry only
Maximum one entry per person. Each entrant must use a valid email address. Duplicate entries will be consolidated or removed. Existing mailing-list subscribers remain eligible and may enter once.

6. Email consent
By entering the giveaway, entrants consent to receiving occasional marketing emails from Duncan Ritchie concerning The Truth Chamber, future books, writing, news and offers. They may unsubscribe at any time.

7. Prizes
50 copies of The Truth Chamber will be awarded, subject to there being at least 50 valid entries. Each winner may choose:

• ebook;
• audiobook; or
• paperback,

subject to a maximum of 12 paperback prizes in total.

If more than 12 winners nominate paperback, the first 12 winners drawn so nominating will receive a paperback copy of The Truth Chamber. Subsequent winners who elected to receive a paperback will be given the option to receive either an ebook or audiobook instead.

8. Restricted Countries
The giveaway is open internationally where permitted by law and where prize fulfilment is reasonably available. The Promoter may decline an entry or withhold or substitute a prize where awarding or delivering that prize would breach applicable Australian sanctions laws, other applicable laws, or the terms of a relevant distribution or fulfilment provider.

9. Draw method
After entries close each valid entrant will be assigned a unique sequential number in a spreadsheet. Each number will be inscribed on identical cards, placed in an opaque container and mixed thoroughly. The draw will be conducted before an independent witness. A reserve list of up to 10 entrants will be drawn in case winners fail to claim their prizes. A record of the entrant numbering, winning numbers, reserve order, date of draw and witness will be retained by the Promoter for 12 months after the draw is conducted.

10. Notification
Winners will be notified using the email address supplied with their entry. Winners will have 14 days from the date of notification to respond and confirm their prize format and, where applicable, delivery details.

11. Unclaimed prizes
In the event that an entrant fails to claim their prize within 14 days, is ineligible, or has provided an invalid email address, the prize will be awarded to the next in line on the reserve list based on the order drawn.

12. Winner publication
A list of winners (first name, surname initial and country) will be published on the Promoter’s website after the draw.

13. Format preference is not guaranteed until confirmed
Ebook and audiobook will generally be available as requested, subject to any constraints of my fulfilment partner, BookFunnel; paperback is subject to the 12-copy cap and reasonable delivery availability.

14. Prize substitution
Prizes are not redeemable for cash. If a nominated format becomes unavailable for reasons outside my control, I may substitute an alternative format of The Truth Chamber.

15. Privacy
Entry information will be used to administer the giveaway and to send marketing communications in accordance with Rule 6. It will not be sold to third parties. See my Privacy Policy.

16. General fairness provision
I may disqualify fraudulent, automated, duplicate or otherwise invalid entries, but otherwise every valid entrant has an equal chance of being drawn.
